Welcome to our Website
of the oldest festivals in Washington
This is Leavenworth's longest running event. The Autumn Leaf Festival celebrates the turning colors of the Autumn Leaves and is the town's original festival; originating in 1964 when the City of Leavenworth adopted the Bavarian theme. At this same time, the Washington State Autumn Leaf Festival Association (ALFA) was formed by volunteers in the Leavenworth community and each year ALFA selects the Royal Lady of the Autumn Leaves.
Our Parade Float
Locals pause on Parade route with 2014 Leavenworth Float .
Our float is a "community float" and this means we can use as many volunteers as possible. If you have an artistic eye, or can work with tools, or just able to lend a hand your talents can help in building our float.
If you can volunteer just give us a call or come and join us at one of regular meetings.
